THE TECHNOLOGY CLUSTER

The Technology Cluster of the Toulouse Cancer Research Centre (CRTC) has been based on the Oncopole site in Toulouse since July 2014.

The decision taken by Frédéric Lopez, the Cluster Manager, to group several technology platforms so as to enable their “collegial” operation and thus the sharing of facilities and resources makes this site unique in Toulouse.
The engineers offer technical skills in several areas of expertise.

Their mission is to provide you with support for your projects regarding:

  • Their design,
  • The conduct of experiments,
  • Training in the use of freely accessible specific equipment,
  • The interpretation and presentation of results, and
  • The compilation and dissemination of publications.

A Technology Watch Committee made up of engineers from the Cluster and research scientists or support staff (ITA) from CRCT teams, has the task of establishing a general strategy for the Cluster’s development (review of equipment requirements, funding, etc.).

Operation of the Technology Cluster is governed by a Charter that has been approved by the CRCT’s managers and team leaders.

The Technology Cluster has dual certification for ISO 9001:2015 and NFX50-900.

expertise

Bioinformatics

The bioinformatics platform supports you in the exploitation of your data or public data via a wide range of existing tools or the development of original tools specific to your needs.

+

Cytometry & Cell Sorting

The Technology Cluster’s Cytometry and Cell Sorting Platform offers its expertise to academic and private-sector scientific communities in the region.

+

Genomics & Transcriptomics

The Genomics and Transcriptomics Platform at the CRCT Technology Cluster is dedicated to the analysis of nucleic sequences and their expression, using high-, moderate- and low-throughput techniques.

+

Cellular Imaging

The Technology Cluster’s Cell Imaging Platform offers its expertise to the academic and private-sector scientific community in the region.
The department is mainly organised around Photonic Microscopy techniques: wide field, confocal and HCS microscopy.

+

Experimental Histology

The platform ensure the preparation of your murine tissues within the CRB and training in the use of open access equipment. at CRCT.

+

Irradiator

The Irradiator platform is dedicated to imaging and targeted irradiation of small animals and cells.

+

Molecular interactions BIA

The Molecular interactions BIA platform offers technological expertise in fractionating and protein profiling of biological samples, but also in protein identification and the study of molecular interactions.

+

Vectorology

The Vectorology platform offers a “custom” production service for recombinant viral vectors such as lentivectors and AAVs.
