Cytometry & Cell Sorting

EXPERTISE

A DEDICATED PLATFORM…

The Cytometry and cell sorting platform of the Technology Centre provides expertise to the regional academic and private scientific community. The service is equipped with 4 analysers and 2 cell sorters.

The platform operates under specific internal regulations, which are integrated into the internal regulations of the Technology Centre and validated by the CRCT Laboratory Council.

The Cytometry and Cell Sorting Department is located in the L2 containment area of the Technology Centre, on the 1st floor of the CRCT’s A building.

OUR MISSIONS…

Cell analysis and sorting for research teams of public or private organisations

Advice and assistance to users for data acquisition, analysis and interpretation

Training of users to achieve autonomy

Design and development of collaborative research projects

Formatting and communication of analysis results

AVAILABLE DEVICES

ANALYzers

Cytometers are freely available, depending on their availability, to users who have undergone compulsory training by the platform staff.
For other users, technical assistance is available by appointment.

CELL SORTERS

Cell sorters allow the isolation and recovery of one or more cell sub-populations according to criteria of size, granulosity (cell content) and fluorescence (receptor, genetic transformation, cell phase, etc.).

The recovered cells can then be analysed biochemically or put back into culture.

  • 8 fluorescence parameters
  • Under PSM
  • Isolate or enrich up to 2 different cell subpopulations
  • Cell cloning (96 or 384 well plates)
  • Up to 10000 events per second

FACS Aria Fusion (BD Biosciences)

  • 4 lasers (355nm, 405nm, 488nm et 640nm),
  • 18 fluorescence parameters
  • Under PSM
