STUDIES OF DEREGULATION OF CHOLESTEROL METABOLISM IN NEUROENDOCRINE CANCERS

We study the deregulation of the oncosterone and dendrogenin A biosynthetic pathway in neuroendocrine cancers and thyroid cancers in particular. We characterize this metabolic branch in patient tumors by transcriptomic, immunohistochemistry and metabolic approaches.

Our goal is to improve the molecular characterization of these cancers and to propose new targeted therapies.
