Imaging and targeted irradiation of small animals and cells.

The small animal imaging and irradiation platform is equipped with an XRad Smart plus PXI irradiator, the acquisition of which was made possible by joint funding from the Claudius Regaud Institute and INSERM Cancer Plan.

Available equipment

XRAD SMART IRRADIATOR

This X-ray irradiator is equipped with 3D on-board imaging for precise and targeted irradiation of solid tumours in small animals (mice, rats). A Bioluminescence module is associated with the machine.

A system of anaesthesia and containment cells ensures the maintenance of the EOPS status of the animals which can then be returned to zootechnics.

IVIS spectrum

This platform also has an IVIS Spectrum (PerkinElmer) for the longitudinal and non-invasive monitoring of physiological and pathological phenomena (tumour growth) in animals or the study of cell migration.
