The support services are an essential part of the CRCT chain. They provide administrative and technical support to all researchers so that they can carry out their research programs in the best possible conditions and environment.

Composed of 18 agents under the direct responsibility of the Director and the Administrative Director, the CRCT’s supports services work in close collaboration with the homologous services of the CRCT’s supervisory institutions, in particular with the services of the Inserm Occitanie Pyrénées Regional Delegation (the Centre’s main managing institution).

Administration

The “Administration” department is in charge of the administrative and financial follow-up of activities. This department manages the financial resources of the Center, the teams and the technical platforms, as well as all administrative procedures relating to the activities of the CRCT’s staff.

LogistiCS

The “logistics” department is particularly broad and diversified, since it manages all activities related to the maintenance and technical monitoring of the 25,000m2 building, its security and that of the staff who work in it. This department is also home to essential services: the shop, which, thanks to its own markets, supplies all researchers with the usual laboratory consumables; the laundry, which, among other things, ensures the sterilisation of all containers used in the laboratory; the technical service monitors the technical equipment of the laboratories and the controls that the teams can find on the server afterwards, the surveillance of the 3 buildings and the confined installations, the fitting out and moving of the premises (laboratories and offices), the management of fluids and sometimes the inter-centre transport of packages or other equipment; and the IT department, which manages the Centre’s IT equipment, as well as the maintenance of servers and networks.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

The “Health and Safety Department” is responsible for supervising the prevention of risks inherent in research activities and, in particular, for monitoring all procedures and protocols relating to radiation protection.

Communication

The mission of the “Communication Department” is to manage, lead and implement the CRCT’s internal and external communication in relation to the Center’s overall strategy, which is focused on scientific excellence. It is the communications advisor to the governance team for the development of the Center’s communications strategy and, at the same time, the consultant to the entire scientific community for the actions that each of its members is required to undertake and around which communications work must be organised. Internally, it allows information to circulate. Externally, it allows the institution to be promoted.

Parity and professional equality

Within the CRCT, an Equality / Parity correspondent has been appointed and her mission is to

• Ensure the implementation and sharing of institutional policies dedicated to Parity and Professional Equality
• To monitor the Unit’s situation with regard to gender equality
• Support communication campaigns
• Respond to staff requests for information
• Receiving and directing individual requests
